Test, and then test again

Why do you need to test?

• Broken links or non functioning areas can be really easy to fix but so annoying for a site user.
• Non functional areas of a website reflect on your business practices.

When do you test?

• Once the development of your website has been completed you should test it, and then test it again.

do you test?

• Write a list of what you are testing and how you believe it should work.

Should the site owner do all the testing?

• A big problem that you face is that you know how it will work and are therefore expecting that, you need a new perspective,
• Now ask anyone you know (who is not familiar with the site) to test also.
• When testing they must be able to re-create all errors otherwise they will not be fixable.
