Make it easy to find what they are looking for whether that is property information, local area information, buying and selling guides, your prices or your contact information
It is about making the user feel clever not you.

Quality information – offer users what they are looking for and in a professional manner.
Clear contact information – how can you expect to make a sale or contact the buyer with more relevant information if you make it difficult for them to contact you?
A site map to navigate your content. A site map can also be registered with search engines; this helps the search engine index all your content.
Remove all site clutter so your message is clear.
Once you have them try and keep them, if you have adverts make sure they are useful and relevant to what you are offering.

Always make sure any advert opens in a new window so your site will not disappear out of sight and mind.
